Hi Folks,
Eight camera club members gathered at Whiteleaf car park at 7pm in the hope that the weather which was now spitting with rain would soon improve but after waiting a while we took our chances and went for it. Some members choosing the clouds as an opportunity for gathering backgrounds for possible use in layers ( gosh beginning to get the ideas now) lol

Our walk led us to be standing over the top of the white cross cut in the chalk hill

There was a chilly wind blowing but it did not stop us taking some photographs

down below somebody spotted some deer in a field way in the distance. I did not have my trusty compact camera with the x20 zoom lens to get a closer shot but the small dot in the bottom right hand corner is a deer. Not the competition stag picture I was looking for lol

I was not sure what I was going to take but the answer my friend was blowing in the wind

Plenty of wild flowers using the wind to try to dodge out of the pictures

Some I could not get close up to as they were down a hill

And if one went down a hill one need to get back up

all in all, a nice social evening

Which ended in a visit to the pub

Last meet up for the summer is
