Critique Night, Tuesday 13th February 2018

Hi Folks,

Last night was a critique night allowing our members to take along their images on a USB stick to have the experienced club members give an informal chat and advice on them.

Four tables were set up with laptops that had the use of Light room software to show members how it was possible to improve on some of the pictures.

Here Alan is looking at one of the images of a building with people going about their daily business shaking brooms off balconies and people on the street corners.

I has a chat with Dave in the first half  on another table who gave me advice of five of my images.

Then Carol was given  advice on some of hers. We had  a new member sitting with us hopefully also picking up points made on both sets of images.

I had a walk over to the other table sessions where here Kathy was impressed with one of Peter’s images and John had another image talked about in his usual Picasso style lol

At this table two new members were getting advice on aircraft photographs from Nick and hopefully they will  be entered in the next competition.

So quite a satisfying evening and a few more hours to spend in software to improve my pictures lol

Now could I get my first ever ’19’ mark in the next competition well possibly yes but not expecting it to come from these five.
