Hi Folks,
Last night the club had a visit to the Rag Pits near Halton Woods there were lots of different wild flowers out including orchids
I am afraid I am not well up on wild flowers so can’t really tell you their names
but I think these are some of the orchids out
as you can see it is a hot sunny evening
There were plenty of Marbled whites about but I kept my shirt on not showing mine lol
some more flowers
some members down at the bottom of the hill
The Rag Pits have been formed from the removal of chalk and once the workings finished nature has returned it to a place for butterflies and wildflowers
and nice evening out
The next meet up is
Imagez Summer Season – Eythrope Walk – Stone,
Tuesday July 17, 2018 from 19:15 to 21:15
Weather permitting, we’ll take a looped walk down Eythrope Road into the Waddesdon Estate and back. Park half-way down Eythorpe Road under the set of tall tress, if you get to the bridge and gate, you’ve gone too far! Bring your camera and a tripod.
I was sorry to miss the outing last night through illness, which I am hoping to get treatment for. It looks as though you all had a good evening. I doubt that I will make it to the next outing as I will not be seen in the Rheumatology Department until the end of July. Unless of course the tablets I am on perform miracles before then. Fingers crossed !
