Circumstances being what they are, and even though not able to meet in our usual way, we carry on undaunted. Zoom seems be the sharing medium of the moment and we are signed up as a club. We had our first meeting with the new format and 24 members managed to plough through the signing up procedure, and almost all succeeded in connecting microphones and cameras too. Brian was in control of the ‘system’ and Chenxi operated the competition software most efficiently.
On display were the results of the practical challenge – Camera Kit photography. All imaginative, creative and interesting. The challenge, Signs of the Times, was tackled with equal enthusiasm with many forming accurate and poignant documentary evidence of how we are living now plus a few of the more humorous aspects – toilet rolls being the stars.
