London Photowalk
Saturday 24th June 2023
The first of our days out in the Summer Programme to add to the evening meetings.
Sixteen members of ImageZ gathered at Liverpool Street station to be led around various sights in the town and city by the ever-patient Chris Andrews. It was a hot and busy throughout the day with many great opportunities for images of architecture and street photography.
The more experienced photographers offered advice to newer members, so everybody ended the day with a good selection to show for their hard work.
Highlights of the day included The ‘Gherkin’, St Dunstan in the East, Tower 42, The Garden @ 120 Fenchurch Street, Borough Market, Millenium Bridge and the Barbican plus time on the ‘beach’ at Horsleydown Steps.
Great companionship throughout the day and a chance to get to know another side of people. Many thanks to Chris for his knowledge and organisation plus his diplomacy in ‘herding the cats’ roughly in the same direction! Apologies to Kuldip for not ever managing to get her ice-cream!
Below is a gallery of images from some of the member who joined the London Photo Walk.
DON’T FORGET the CHAIRMAN’S CHALLENGE which runs through the whole summer wherever you are! No excuses for not using your camera. Ask Kathy or Caroline for details if you can’t find it or have forgotten!
Next event:
Tuesday July 4th 7pm meeting at Old Amersham Market Hall – further details in the program.
Great to see all the photos. Always fascinated by the different viewpoints on familiar scenes.
