New website done, now time for a new logo
Members agreed that the new look website also merits a change in the club’s logo. The old design seen below has been with us for many years and while we are still a thoroughly modern club our logo is a bit old fashioned.

What we need in a new logo:
- A design that will reproduce well in both colour and black and white, or one that has a complimentary black and white logo
- A design that is useable at a large size and also small. The one on the website is only 250 pixels wide currently
- A modern design that is more than just a nice looking font
- The current “Orangey” look of the site should not be seen as a design constraint it can be readily changed
Designs to be submitted to the chairman and will then be reviewed and voted for by club members.

Space being watched, and already the first submissions of a new logo idea came to me from another member at 11:40 this morning.
Gauntlet well and truly thrown down, let the challenge begin!
Ditto. At least one idea on the go (depending on available time).
