Hi Folks,
Last night was the banana challenge and in the hall lighting was set up in three different areas for objects to be photographed. We were split into three teams and each person in the team was given 4 minutes to photograph the allocated item after which time the next person had to rearrange the pieces before commencing their session.
In team ‘A’ we were given an apple, banana and a slicer to photograph. One needed the 4 minutes to adjust the aperture, ISO and shutter speed but members were there to help should there be any problems. Just as well because as soon as ISO becomes involved it becomes the third dimension to me lol
It was a good social evening and lots of time in between for a chat
team ‘B’ were photographing a bunch of flowers which had gel balls in the base and somehow most ended up in the tray.
There was a background on this set
Team ‘C’ had some beetroot to photograph.
Once all teams had photographed the object they then moved on to the next item.
We had a coffee break
Now i’m not too sure what I am going to do with 50 images on a beetroot in my files lol
Oh a beetroot is RED isn’t it lol
or bananas but a nice evening
Next week we have the club’s league competition on the theme of ‘Red’ with the same judge that judged the ‘water’ competition earlier this year. So get your entries in by 23.59 on Sunday for them to be accepted.
