Round 2 – Mystery & Open Categories
What a fantastic round! There were quite a few high standard images presented to the judge Rojer Weightman on Tuesday night. John Timbrell’s low key shot “Behind the Curtain” and Steve Beckett’s selfie “World Weary” definitely impressed Rojer and get the judge’s choice in Mystery and Open category respectively.
The star on the night is John Timbrell, only 1 point shy to a perfect round with his three images scored 20, 20 and 19. Unfortunately, his 2 full mark images are in the same category, so one of them won’t count to the final score. Mike Ashcroft also had a solid 37-point round. After the first 2 rounds, John and Mike are now neck and neck with 75 points, closely followed by Kathy Chanter and Peter Carter on 73 points, Chris Andrews and Steve Beckett close behind them on 71 points.
