Week 3 28 Attending.
Last night a particularly good evening which was enjoyed by all took place.
Fifteen members of the club showed their post processing skills after choosing three images from a number supplied by Kathy and Chris.
Images had been cropped, straightened, changed to black and white, and in one case flipped around.
Chenxi had painted a Rose to enhance it and Dawn had added some images to her pictures to make them quirky and unforgettable. A boat, church and windmill had all been given stronger textures by Tami, David, Chris and Derek improving all three.
Club members shared the ways they had processed their images hoping to share skills and they spoke about what they did not know and hoped to learn. They talked about the software used and tools chosen for the things they wanted to change.
Sue and Mike use Affinity and some use Lightroom, On- one and others Photoshop.
Peter and Sarah worked to improve an image taken in Abudabi and improved it with their ideas.
Something that was interesting was to see how everyone had changed the images in different ways putting their own interpretations on them.
The evening was interesting and fun and many of us hope to repeat the evening again.
Next week — Its an Image Knockout.
