ImageZ Summer Meeting – Stowe House and Gardens
Attendees 17
Many members came to enjoy a warm sunny evening in Stowe Gardens organised for us by Sarah Jennings. The park was closed to the public, so we were able to stroll at our leisure and take photographs.
We parked by Stowe school at seven pm and walked down to the beautiful central area where the white bridge crosses the lake.
As we walked our members stopped to photograph Temples, Lakes, Swans with Cygnets, and the House. As the sun changed to the golden hour the magnificence of the gardens was accentuated by a different light.
We met more members by another lake that gives a clear view to the Archway at the National Trust entrance and Stowe House in the other direction.
The sun began to set giving a lovely pink hue behind the house.
It was a very enjoyable evening, when we got to chat, catching up on everyone’s news and to explore Stowe areas new to some of us.
Another great evening and here are some of the photographs taken.
Thanks Carol for the write up. A nice evening. Thanks to Sarah again for arranging our exclusive access. Nice pics all!
