Club member Rachel Watts was absolutely delighted to share that one of her photographs had been selected as a winning image in this year’s Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Northamptonshire calendar competition. The theme focused on birds photographed within the Trust’s Special Protection Areas in Northamptonshire — and her robin photo was chosen to represent the month of December.
Rachel says :-
It’s a huge honour to have my work featured alongside so many talented photographers who are all passionate about showcasing the incredible wildlife found in our local landscapes. The calendar is now officially on sale through the Wildlife Trust’s website, with all proceeds helping support vital conservation work across the region.
Thank you to the Wildlife Trust for selecting my image, and to everyone who has supported my photography journey. I’m thrilled to see this little robin spreading some festive cheer at the end of the year!
