6th May 2025
This week for our practical night we went out to try twilight photography at various locations in Weston Turville.
Sixteen people gathered to explore mainly two locations, the Reservoir, and the Old Church.
The reservoir was the go-to area for a number of us. We found a still calm evening but sadly no sunset. Still lovely photographs were taken.
The second venue which some of us walked to is in a beautiful older area of Weston Turville where a few years ago Noel Edmunds had a large house.
There were lovely buttercup covered fields on the way to the church with cows were grazing and two lovely were horses roaming.
After stopping to get photos of these we moved on to the church which was adorned with union jacks to celebrate VE Day.
People moved from the church to churchyard and again interesting photos were taken.
We all made our way back to the Village Hall where we were met with tea and snacks.
A small discussion ensued about what we had photographed, and some notices were given. We all made our way home having enjoyed a chance to take photographs and socialise.
Here’s a selection of images captured on the night by the members.

Some lovely images of the evening Carol, and as usual a very interesting and informative blog by you.
Thank you Jan.
Great to see a range of images literally on the doorstep of the club.
