Danny Ewers wins round 2
Round 2 of the ImageZ Club Challenge attracted 74 entries with a high standard again for the entries. Thanks to the members for mostly getting the file names right; it makes the task of loading the competition software that much easier if you do. Judge for the evening was Micki Aston CPAGB MCIoJ from Windsor Photographic Society. Both the Open and “Night” theme sections were well supported with slightly more entries in the Night category.
Danny Ewers took top honours on the night – a clean sweep with all three of his entries scoring 20. Consistency is paying off for Julia Cleaver and her score of 39 for the second round was enough to put her in to a 1-point lead over Aussie Allan and Petra Smythe in the overall league table. Judges favourite images in the open went to Aussie Allan and John Timbrell in the night section.
Plenty of 20’s were scored with Andy Campbell, Aussie Allan, Bob Davies, Brian Worley, Danny Ewers, Gary King, John Painter, Julia Cleaver & Sally Kilpin all collecting at least one for their entries.

Next round of the ImageZ Club Challenge is December…
Don’t forget that the next round of the club challenge is in December, but 9th November sees the Movement themed print competition with a winner awarded on the night and a trophy will be presented at the end of the season.
What a superb collection of competition winning images and evening!
I just wish to congratulate all the winners (plus, not forgetting those that were pipped by a point or two from the top marks) for sharing with the rest of us your excellent work.
May I also add a personal “Thank You” to the members of the ImageZ committee for all the hard work which they have been investing in to making ImageZ a leading club within the CACC.
