Hi Folks,
What a good turn out by the club last night with over twenty plus members coming along to the first of the summer meet ups.
The star of the meet up was of course ‘Ollie the owl’ and brought along to the church by his keeper Brian
thousands of shots were taken at all angles and some trousers will be in the washing machines this morning lol
The owl seem to prefer to sit in the trees
which gave us a more natural picture
There were no flies on him but I had just had my sensor cleaned so only one of the fly this time lol
This week’s competition is ‘guess the photographer’ and I can now see his serial number on his camera
It was so easy to snap pictures I ended up with hundreds
One just had to be careful of ‘one eyed’ Pete in the darkness behind
Nobody was going to get near enough to Ollie the owl’s egg he was guarding
the evening went so quickly and it was time to fly and the proof is, it is not easy working with children and animals.
The themes in competition this year are “Two things”, “Mystery”, “Sharp”, “Cold”, “Love” and “Money” and after some thought and a few props I might come up with something from last night lol
A lovely evening which was enjoyed by all and finishing off in the Chandos. A big thank you to Brian for bringing Ollie the owl along.
Next meet up in a fortnight’s time
