A successful Exhibition at Queens Park Arts Centre for ImageZ Camera Club.
March 14th to April 6th.22
“A really great variety of images of a very high standard.”
The ImageZ Print Exhibition which ran at Queen Park Arts Centre from March 14th to April 6th exceeded our expectations. The camera club members had entered a total of ninety -five prints which included images from every member, and these were displayed in the Main gallery, Coffee bar, and Entrance Hall.
“Fantastic variety of photographs that made me take a moment to pause and reflect on the beauty of Life.”
Many people came to view the Exhibition and Queens Park Centre staff said they had received many positive comments both from people attending their classes who viewed the work and from people who came purposely to view. The Exhibition which included Portraits, Landscapes, Wildlife, Abstracts and Street photography collected this comment,
“Wonderful array of talented inspiring photographers. Thanks.”
With over fifty comments in our book, we were incredibly pleased that it had given so many people enjoyment as well as enabling our members to show their work. To add fun to this show we asked both our own members and visitors to vote for their favourite image which inspired the following comment,
Great collection very hard to choose. Please can the club allow voting for First, Second and Third next year.
It was a total team effort, one member of the club printed and mounted the work support by two others, a small group from the club spent the morning hanging the work and taking it down, and volunteers from the club staffed the exhibition to answer questions and support visitors.
We are hoping to repeat the Exhibition again next year and thank you to everyone who attended. We end with a comment that has shown that the hard work was worth it.
So Inspirational! This is an amazing collection of photographs, each having their own perks, and this has inspired me to change my perspective on nature. Well done!”

As always a well written blog Carol. It was a very good Exhibition of the club ImageZ, seen by a lot of people. It is nice for people to see what the club does, and how many good photographers it has. It was great that visitors put nice comments into the Visitors’ Book.
My thanks to all those who put so much time and effort into organising it, setting it up, and entering their images, it was well worth it. I hope there will be another Exhibition like this in the future.
