This evening was ImageZ third Winner on the Night Competition of the season and was an open event. Digital images had been sent in by members for the audience to look at while the prints were judged. This was a Print competition, so the judge Paul Burwood from Field End only looked at the prints whilst giving his critique.
Paul Burwood is a very experienced CACC judge and has judged at ImageZ before.
He works in a methodical way, with an empathetic and humorous style.
As the images came up on our new big screen members could follow Paul’s critique step by step. Paul gave many positive comments, offering very insightful information on how to improve some of the images. Members were able to view the forty-five Prints before competition and during break. The images were of a high standard, with individual styles, covering a number of genres including Urban Landscape ,Portraits Abstract, Street Photography ,Still Life, Wildlife, Natural History and Creative.
Paul began by saying he was looking for images that were Creative, Impactful and had a story.
