Last night was the final evening in our five round club challenge.
Our Theme for the first part of the evening was Skills and the second part of the evening was an Open Round as usual. There were fifty- five images entered. Our judge for the evening was Damon Guy. Damon mentioned that he taught Photography for Adult Learning, and his critique was very broad, thoughtful, and thorough. He imparted knowledge about photographic technique including composition, story, the use of colour, engagement with the viewer, lighting and texture.
SKILLS
Skills that were captured in our images included Lacemaking, Sculpture, Wood Turning Singing, Dancing, Juggling Embroidery and Crafting a stained-glass window.

OPEN
The Open round had twenty- seven entries with a great variety of subjects. Woodland Walks, a mini car covered in flowers, A Waxwing with Berries, A pre-match discussion (Football), a delightful portrait of an elderly lady, some champagne, a beautiful sunset, and many more.

The scores for all five rounds will now be collated and the overall winner will collect the coveted Golden Camera, at the end of Season Meeting.
