4th June 24
Tuesday evening was the start of the summer programme, and it was raining. Would the walk around Eythrope take place? I rang Chris who was leading the walk to ask if I should cancel. “My App says fine weather between seven and eight fifteen,” he said. “Thank goodness for modern inventions, “said I who once when observing a teacher’s class said, “good use of the eye pad.”
When I arrived at the meeting place I was delighted to see ten people with raincoats, cameras, and smiles.
We set off across the fields around the Eythrope estate, and blue skies began to appear as dark clouds moved off. It was a lovely walk with beautiful views, a meandering stream, a larger river and a bridge with small waterfall on the edge of the Waddesdon estate. By eight forty-five, the clouds appeared again but we had all taken photographs as you can see.
It was a great start with good photo opportunities and good company.
Next week: BBQ at Sams Hideaway.
Please let me know if you are coming along. My email and telephone number on the email sent out Thursday
I am glad you all had a good evening in the end, and got some lovely images and I am glad the weather stayed fine for you all.
A good blog Carol.
Thanks Jan.
