We had a splendid evening on Tuesday, another evening included in the Summer Programme. The weather was very kind to us it was warm and bright with a lovely sunset.
The field was large and we spent the evening photographing three vintage vehicles, an early Morris car, a blue Triumph police car and a Fordson Tractor with trailer and grass cutter. The tractor puffed its way around the field driven by John the owner so we could get the feel of the vehicle in its hey-day complete with trailer and then grass cutter. Pepper ,John and Kathy’s lovely dog shared the limelight with the vehicles and modelled very well.
Fifteen members came along to share drinks, nibbles, chat and spend time examining the cars and finding creative angles to make exciting images. A couple of the group had a drive around the field, one was ably assisted by John.
At nine thirty we packed up our gear and headed home. The photos will give you a glimpse into our evening.
