A group of eight gathered in Oxford for a walk through Oxford to see a variety of sights and locations.
After all the recent hot sunny days, this walk started under grey skies and welcome cooler temperatures. Though the forecast was predicting sunshine later in the day. Starting from the Radcliffe Observatory we headed in to Jericho and to an old Victorian Graveyard with time to wander and find interesting sights and compositions. Then it was back towards the centre of the city past the Oxford University Press and in to Gloucester Green Market. A number of opportunities arose for the group to practice their panning skills. Continuing on we headed up and in to The Covered Market for a bit of lunch.
The afternoon saw us go in to Christchurch Meadow and then back in past Merton College to Queens Lane before ending on Broad Street with a stop for a coffee before heading back to the park and ride for home. We still wondered where the sunny afternoon had been, but we’d had a good time exploring and seeing bits of Oxford not regularly frequented.
Here’s a selection of the photos the group captured

Wonderful collections— very well seen !
