Last Tuesday our speaker was Jeanette Lendon who came to speak to us about us about smartphone photography.
Jeanette is an enthusiastic advocate for smartphone photography. Her teaching style is engaging, clear, and covers practical tips and techniques. Her presentation is accompanied by slides illustrating her work and showing locations used, many in London.
Jeanette picked three types of phones, I Phone, Samsung and Google and talked us through switching lenses, adjusting exposure, using Rule of thirds and using Portrait mode.
She also explained that by turning the phone upside down we could achieve different perspectives.
Jeanette shared useful App information for editing, resizing capturing long exposure and many more.
Jeanette’s phone photography shown on a power-point added to the enjoyment of the evening.
She has set up a business and now works with a number of people over Britain and in Ireland, France and New Zealand delivering training on smartphone photography.
Jeanette’s expertise and approachable manner made the evening very enjoyable.
