ImageZ – London City Walk
11th July 2026
It was a hot day when we all managed to assemble at the agreed meeting point in Liverpool Street Station. Fortunately, a slight breeze managed to cool us enough as Chris led us round the streets, observing many interesting features of the city of London on the way. It is amazing how much building is going on in so little space – one building going up where another has been taken down. We were encouraged to look up to appreciate the fascinating shapes formed by the tall buildings. Some of us ‘retired’ after lunch when we had reached the Tower rather than continue in the increasing heat, but it had been a thoroughly interesting and informative ‘outing’.
Thank you so much to Chris for his excellent and thoughtful route planning plus making it great fun.

You all caught some great shapes and reflections. Fascinating how everyone sees different images to take. A lovely selection.
