This evening was the Annual General Meeting of ImageZ Camera Club.
It was a very well attended meeting and Kathy (Chairperson) opened the meeting by saying we had recovered from the isolation of the Covid period and had returned to the hall for many of our meetings but still offered some zoom meetings to accommodate speakers from other parts of the country. She then went on to welcome our ten new members.
Kathy proceeded to summarise the year which has been very successful. We have entered many external competitions, held and Exhibition for a three- week period at Queens Park Arts centre in Aylesbury, held many internal competitions and workshops and carried out two social activities .
Chris (Programme Secretary) described the last year’s programme outlining the many exciting speakers that presented a vast number of topics, an interesting variety of workshops and club nights, and the Summer programme which included a trip to London and Birmingham. He went on to outline what he had hoped to achieve with the coming programme.
Becca our Treasurer outlined the accounts very succinctly.
This was followed by the introduction of some titles for next years Themed rounds in the Challenge Cup competitions and a vote by members on subjects they preferred.
The evening finished with a summary of last year’s Exhibition from Laurence and Carol and a talk about their hopes for this year’s Exhibition in May.
Tea and Cakes were served at break and the evening passed very quickly. Thank you to Sarah and Jan for serving the tea and cakes.
