As they say – it’s not what you know, it’s who you know. With a club membership spanning many walks of life it was handy having a member who works at the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre in Quainton. So, for a modest donation, Imagez had an opportunity to spend an exclusive evening photographing… just about anything we wanted. There was pretty much something for everyone, with the older trains and carriages outside providing some wonderful scenes and rich textures, right through to the fully restored 1901 royal train in the visitors centre. We even got a good mix of sun and clouds, culminating in a wonderful sunset – as the man below (resting his foot on the smallest lampost in the world) would agree with.
