With the change in the leaves it’s clear that Christmas is already on many minds. The camera club uses Amazon.co.uk to get a share of money spent at Amazon provided they click a link from within the club’s website. We don’t know or mind who spends the money, but a few percent of each purchase certainly helps us fund some additional items for the club and it’s members to use.

All we want for Christmas is…

The club has an X-Rite ColorMunki Photo to profile the projector on it’s wish list, up until now we’ve used one belonging to one of the members. Getting the colour of your screen right it vital, it’s where most people judge the colour. Proper colour management is probably the biggest time saver and cost reducer, prints from files edited on a computer with a colour managed screen and correctly profiled printer you only have to make once. Once the club has purchased a ColorMunki – and ColorMunki Display just for computer screens, they will available for members to loan to profile their own screens and printers. Anecdotally I have heard that the look, quality and updates of ImageZ camera club website are talking points at several other clubs.
