ImageZ Christmas Party –

Our Christmas party took place on Zoom following another announcement from the Prime Minister about Covid. 

Safety for us all being the priority, we opted for a zoom party which was very successful. People arrived on zoom in Christmas jumpers with fancy hats and tinsel wrapped around their necks. The more I.T. savvy adorned virtual noses and reindeer antlers, and even a pair of pink sunglasses. 

The evening began with chat and a little music from DJ Alan, and then we went on to pit our wits on a quiz produced on power-point. This consisted of photography questions and then  topical and Christmas questions when the Quiz mistress realised, she had surpassed her knowledge of photography.

We then enjoyed another chat and ate our Christmas fare, some of us indulging in an alcoholic beverages. Fortunately, none of us were stopped by the police for a breath test when walking from the sitting room to the kitchen afterwards. (The beauty of zoom.)

After the quiz we had a comical summary of the year using many of the members images on power-point. Lastly a poem with images from members from our party two years ago which got us all laughing.

 

The evening was fun, full of warmth and really brought out the 

With of many members from ImageZ. Praise was given to the all the committee for work over the year and Kathy our chairperson for keeping the club going, with an everlasting flow of innovative ideas, and to Chris for providing an amazing programme and speakers. 

Carol was thanked for organising the Christmas entertainment. The club would also like to thank the ladies who come forward to do the tea rota who all volunteered to come and help with the food, had we have been in the hall. 

There was praise for the help that is given to new members from Kuldip and everyone who attends the Coffee and Chat morning thanked David for his work to keep this going. It is very popular.

We look forward to the new year with lots of new challenges and hopefully to be able to see each other in person sometime soon.
