Kathy Chantler Chairman gave a summary of the past year which included competitions we had entered, social events and the exhibition. She thanked the committee which she said is very strong but especially Brian Worley and Chenxi for their work on the website and Brian for his work organising internal competitions and projecting the images during meetings. She welcomed the new Chairman Caroline Petch who will take over from Kathy in the new season. Kathy decided to step down after five years but will continue working with Chris Andrews to plan the programme.
Kathy is also working with the CACC.
She then went on to talk about the coming summer challenges and meet ups. She awarded the Chairmans Award to Carol Haines for her all-round contribution to the club this year, organising social events, writing the blog, and helping to organise the Exhibition with Laurence.
Carol thanked the many new members (over ten) who have joined this year for participating in all events and competitions becoming established members of ImageZ.
All members were asked to vote for their favourite image and votes were counted by Carol, Caroline, and Laurence.
