ImageZ members celebrated another busy and successful season with a fish & chip supper plus the annual photographic awards. It was especially welcome to meet together after the enforced number of zoom meetings over the past year and good to see the newer members fitting in and already ‘part of the family’.
We have come through all the covid-19 disturbance and disruption stronger than ever, with positive and active members enjoying their photography with exciting and imaginative images. The season saw both digital and print competitions, with a notable feature being the Print Exhibition held in the Spring; there were also plenty of lighter, ‘fun’ evenings and interesting speakers.
Awards for the past season were given to the following members:
Chairman’s Award to Laurence Doyle for his loyalty, dedication and consistent hard work for the club.
It’s a Knockout Competition – won by Amanda Hawes – a fun competition with photography at its heart
Location Challenge – 1st Brian Worley, 2nd David Jones, 3rd Godfrey Clements
Print Exhibition – Public Vote won by Chris Andrews
Print Exhibition – Members Vote won by Steve Allsop who also wins the first ever Stan McCartin Memorial Award for best print
