27th January 2026
On Tuesday evening Chris Andrews and Brian Worley set up a system to be able to guide us using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop software.
Previously at The Good, The Bad and The Maybes evening, our members had viewed some images and in groups decided what would improve these images.
With our suggestions Chris and Brian were able to take us through processing such as cropping, removing unwanted things in the image, darkening down areas, or lighting areas, and bringing out detail in parts of images. Brian worked on Lightroom and Chris worked through Photoshop. Their instructions were clear and delivered in a way that we could follow. The session was also recorded so that members can access it and go over it again at their own pace.
This was a very valuable and for some an introduction to the two pieces of software.
We look forward to more sessions based on this subject.
Thank you to Chris and Brian.

I couldn’t attend the evening but found the video of the event first-class and very professional. Well done Chris and Brian.
Thank for your comments David lovely to hear from you.
I also couldn’t attend the evening, but thoroughly enjoyed the video, it was very useful and it is good that I can go through it again and again. Well done Brian and Chris, and a good blog from you Carol.
I was unable to get to the Club that evening and was sorry to have missed it. However, the video recording solved made it for me. The video quality was good and the manner in which Brian and Chris provided the presentation and tuition was excellent. The emphasis on what needed to be done to the images followed by the how to do in Adobe I felt was done in such a manner that there was read across to other processing software ie ON1. Big thank you from me.
