Visit to a farm, Tues 20th June

Hi Folks,

It was a lovely summer’s evening but still very hot on Tuesday when fifteen of our members arrived at a farm to take photographs. There were a numbers of acres to walk around but I baled out and stuck to around the farm area.

Cattle were spread in certain areas of the farm

friendly calves were in the yard area to photograph

swifts were flying in and out of the barns but one had to be quick to get a photo of them so I settled for just a picture of the beams lol

There may be a story to tell on this carving hung on a barn wall

There was also a very old threshing machine part hidden in one barn

chickens running around

kittens being looked after by the mother cat

flowers to take

and various tractors to photograph

along with other equipment

of course I did not log everything

but a lovely social evening and our farming club member had put on some tea and refreshments for us all
